The first time I watched the movie was I think in high school. Watched it again tonight. It’s amazing how the same movie can impact you in a different way, just a few years later. It hits a deeper note once you can relate to it, somehow. Buhay PGH. The first time I watched it, AIDS was just some vague disease I had no idea I’d ever encounter. Now though, you just know that you’d be exposed to it at the hospital, especially since hello, PGH. Nothing is rare here, in a good and bad way.
Angel is my favorite character, so tears were definitely shed. Haha. As for Mimi though, I just can’t find it in me to have much sympathy for her. There are just some people you can’t help but want to slap some sense into sometimes, you know? Tsk.
