Zee Avi - Concrete Wall
New musical discovery, thanks to our shopping trips. Haha. Bossini was playing her album over and over again, and this song got stuck to my head. You know I’m downloading this when we get back. :D

My distaste of the Twilight series has gotten so low such that even the original movies look like corny spoofs to me. The pasty make-up and blank acting, and duh: dull storyline, just kill it. They were doomed to begin with I think, they were just lucky to have had a strong following of teenage girls. Haha.
They do, however, have a great soundtrack. This song comes from Breaking Dawn Part 1 OST. (I only got to watch the movie last week, lol) Not bad at all. And I swear I heard this in some coffee shop before.

SYTYCD Canada’s Joey Arrigo and Geisha Chin dances Stacy Tookie’s choreography to Gasoline Rainbows by Amy Kuney.
I really like this song. I just found it on thesixtyone. Hehe. Lovelovelove. And the dance gives me goosebumps. So giddy. :)

Johnny Stimson - A Million Years (ft. Jillian Edwards)
This song is super cute. Also, I love this music discovery site, thesixtyone, (greaaat graphics) almost as much as (or more than?) I love Musicovery. Yup, I have a thing for new-music and mood-based radios. Check it out.
You’re welcome. Haha :D

Natasha Bedingfield - Soulmate
I don’t remember who recommended this to me (and why???), but it’s nice albeit a little depressing. Hoho
Who doesn’t long for someone to hold?
Who knows how to love you without being told.
Somebody tell me why I’m on my own
If there’s a soulmate for everyone?

DAMN IT I’M SO EXCITED FOR SUMMER ALREADY! :D

Backstreet Boys
I need to find out why they’re dressed like that. Hahahaha
EDIT: I can’t believe I haven’t seen their video of I Just Want You To Know. Because apparently that was where this was from. :))
-
Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe
I have no idea who this girl is (I can’t even identify her on this video, if she’s in it. Haha); I just heard the song somewhere and it just stuck. Haha. Catchy. Also, this video, so sabaw! <3 Ashley Selena and Logan. Some others I can’t recognize. Haha
-
Katy Perry - Part Of Me
Empowering song with a good uptempo dance-y beat. Heee. <3
The video’s so refreshing. No boobage for a change. :)

The sun goes down, the star come out.
And all that counts is here and now.
My universe will never be the same.
I’m glad you came.

Bon Iver - Skinny Love
They’re a indie folk band that my sister has been listening to, so now I’m hooked onto this song.
I told you to be patient, I told you to be fine
I told you to be balanced, I told you to be kind
Now all your love is wasted? Then who the hell was I?
Now I’m breaking at the britches And at the end of all your lines.
I miss my coffee-shop, indie songs. It’s been a long while since I last studied out, so it’s also been that long since I listened to these types of songs.

Train - When I Look to the Sky
When I feel like I’m lost, something tells me you’re here with me. And I’ll always find my way.
I unconsciously started humming this song to myself after I read a friend’s emotional note. It wasn’t until I really listened to it and read its lyrics did I realize how appropriate the lyrics were to the situation we were in.
I even went so far as to read the comments of other viewers. After that, I promptly broke down in tears, suddenly mournful for all the loved ones we’ve all lost.
It might be hormones. It might be stress. It might be the constant exposure to depressed people in Psychiatry. I might actually be really sad right now. I don’t know why I related to the song, but at least it was a good cry, and I feel so much better now.
